GEMMA COLLINS has admitted she has a monster crush on Irish hunk Paul Mescal.
The former TOWIE star, whose Christmas duet with Darren Day is released on Friday, said: “Paul’s gorgeous!”
The age difference between the two stars may be 15 years, and Normal People actor Mescal may be dating right now, but that won’t stop Gemma, who calls herself “The GC”.
The 39 year old, who made the revelation on her BBC Podcast, added: “Paul if you’re listening, I love you!”
Ladies man Mescal, from Meynooth, Ireland, has been linked to a string of beautiful women – including US singer Phoebe Bridgers – ever since sexy TV show Normal People hit our screens.
Normal People featured scores of sizzling sex scenes and was based on the Sally Rooney novel of the same name.
Meanwhile Gemma – whose car crash relationship with 33-year-old TOWIE costar James “Arg” Argent gripped TV fans for years – has been telling her listeners to stop strangers they fancy in the street.
She said: “If you walk down the street and you fancy someone, tell them. Go for it. You’ve got nothing to lose!”
But, super-confident Gemma, admits she turns to a jelly when she meets someone she fancies.
“You wouldn’t believe it, says the unlucky in love star. “When i get a crush onside I get really shy. I can’t talk to them. It’s like so pathetic.
“I’m normally horrible to them. It’s like why am I being horrible to you? – i really like you. It’s just a defence mechanism because you get so embarrassed.
She claims her dating hours have been limited – because of the Coronavirus and adds, “It’s been hell.”
Giving relationship tips on her podcast’s “Love Lounge”, Gemma added: “People will make time for you if they want to see you and if they don’t, they can kiss your butt!
If you feel that chemistry, go for it. Chemistry doesn’t lie. Intuition doesn’t lie and your gut doesn’t lie.
“If there is a chemistry you need to grab it with two hands.
“If it gets awkward at work, it gets awkward at work. Life is about taking risks.
“You’ve just got to be brave. It has been a difficult year on the dating stakes – don’t get me wrong but what’s the point of putting your life on hold for another year.
“If you feel something for if you love them, tell them. If you fancy them tell them. what’s the worst that can happen.
If you fancy a little snog, have one.
“Life’s been a bit weird this year. People would love to go out on a date.
“So if you’re getting knock backs just crack on to the next person.
“You need to learn the signals. if someone keeps saying they’re too busy move on. Don’t give them another thought.”
